Introducing the new Vanguard VGD60-4, the newest inclusion to Piratez Strike‘s Vanguard series of versatile boat jigging rods for both vertical and slow jigging. The Vanguard is known for its nimble tip and robustic backbone power. It seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to putting pressure on hard running fishes, giving anglers advantage when dealing with speedy pelagics. The new VGD60-4 is a single section 6 footer capable of handling vertical jigs from 150g onwards, and slow jigs of up to 500g. Fitted with Fuji Alconite guides and reel seat, this rod is a true workhorse that has got nothing fancy to boast, but plenty of attitude to proof.
