Tested out the Smith Bayliner BL-551XUL-S/AJ, An ajing tuned full soild rod with Fuji reel seat and Fuji titanium torzite + Titanium sic corrsion free guides. This full solid ajing rod is very thin and lightweight and is tuned to carry a very a lightweight rig up to 0.5g or even less, it has a very delicate tip but can a secure a deep bite without giving a sense of discomfort to horse mackerel. The blank has a high suspension effect and is very forgiving to line breaks even when you use a very thin ester line. Although very thin this reel is still powerful enough to take a big size aji and can fully cope with large Aji, the diameter also of this rod makes it an advantage when fishing with strong winds, it is very stable and doesn't get affected making this rod a good choice when fishing during amihan and habagat days.
